 It was the dream of The Sojourner, founder of Dreams and Shockproof and a dear friend, to create a walk-through brain to teach people interactively about strokes and other brain related issues; sadly we lost Soj in 2008 and she was not able to complete her project. The Dreams group is now working on making Soj's vision a reality. The work has started on a new island dedicated to the project and as any undertaking like this in SL, there are plenty of people putting their hearts and souls into making Soj's dream come true, but funding is thin. I'm playing this afternoon at 4:30 PM SL (PST) on The Sojourner's Dream to help raise money to keep this project going. There is a fantastic art auction and a tiered sponsorship program.  2010 can officially start. After spending January trying to catch up on November and December, I have by some miracle reduced my inSL to do list to below double digits. This included sending numerous "regret" notecards for things I'd missed in my black hole of an inventory and finally getting my info together for Crap Mariner's Tunes inSL project. What is this, you ask? For starters, it's a gift to live music musicians, listeners, enthusiasts and cat lovers; it's a potpourri or delight; it's like drinking pina coladas and getting lost in the rain; it's all that and a bag of salt-n-vinegar chips.
