I'm starting out with four new singles this year and I'm pretty happy with each of them in their own way.
Fly is a Salome Strangelove - Grace McDunnough collaboration and it's a powerful melody with an equally powerful message. I still want to call it Phly and I think I will and just not tell Sal.
Whispers was adapted from a poem by fellow Second Life Resident Joowa Flatley. Joowa's words were rich inspiration for a song about those soft moments of intimacy shared between lovers and folks seem to really embrace the "uh oh" parts of the song (in a good way).
The yet to be named song (can you say title block?) was inspired by the empty moments when the one you love is gone. The first line of the chorus "When I'm here, and you're gone - the days and nights conspire" sort of tells it all.
Finally, tonight at HIPS I'll be debuting Canary In A Coal Mine, another Salome-Grace collaboration that I hope you'll like. Come out and let me know what you think. Grab a SLURL.
